Latest Photo from the el Cabrón Marine Reserve 2022/08/12

Here is one of my favourite pictures that I have taken over the last few days 👌 Honeycomb Filefish (Cantherhines pardalis) for the second time! Four years ago, 25/07/18 we saw this in El Cabrón... a fish from the African coast, and at the time the first recorded sighting in the Canaries! A couple of days ago, just 10m from where we saw it in 2018 .. a second sighting. It is near an area that does not get dived much, and looks very similar to a blue-fin damselfish, so which is more likely, a second individual in almost exactly the same place, or a cunning individual who has evaded detection for four years ?? -- 2022/08/12 in Arinaga Tags: #divinggrancanaria, #divingArinaga, #buceoArinaga #filefish -- Delivered by Feed43 service
