Here is one of my favourite pictures that I have taken over the last few days 👌 Not one, but a pair of pipefish (Syngathus typhle). This is only the third time in 20 years I have seen pipefish in Gran Canaria. They appeared to be practising for ´Strictly´ by dancing vertically next to each other. Here is one of my favourite pictures that I have taken over the last few days 👌 Honeycomb Filefish (Cantherhines pardalis) for the second time! Four years ago, 25/07/18 we saw this in El Cabrón... a fish from the African coast, and at the time the first recorded sighting in the Canaries! A couple of days ago, just 10m from where we saw it in 2018 .. a second sighting. They live underneath the sand during the day and emerge at night to hunt on the reefs.
