Sadly, this Spiny Pufferfish (Chilomycterus espinoso) has a serious injury over the eye. One expert put it down to an unexpected collision with a rocky outcrop, while another felt it was symptomatic of a cancerous growth. Still plenty of stingrays to be seen, in addition to this Common Stingray (Dasyatis pastinaca) in the last week we have seen butterfly rays, round rays and even a bull ray and a late angelshark. - #divinggrancanaria, #divingArinaga, #buceoArinaga, #stingray
